Hope for Keziah: A Journey of Faith, Hope, and Specialized Care

We are Jordan and Kaila Brockington, and we are the parents of our precious baby girl, Keziah.

Our family is asking for your prayers, support, and help as we walk through an unexpected journey with, Keziah.

What began as a routine pregnancy quickly became a series of appointments, tests, and difficult conversations. During a detailed anatomy ultrasound, doctors discovered serious abnormalities involving Keziah's spine, brain, and right foot. Additional testing revealed a rare and complex spinal condition affecting the lower portion of her spine, enlarged ventricles within her brain, and a clubbed foot.

Because her condition is unusual and does not fit a typical diagnosis, local specialists have referred her to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), one of the leading fetal care centers in the world. There, a team of specialists will perform advanced imaging, fetal MRI studies, and consultations with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, pediatric neurosurgeons, neonatologists, and other experts to better understand Keziah's condition and determine the best treatment plan.

On June 16th and 17th, our family will travel to Philadelphia for these critical evaluations.

At this time, there are still many unknowns.

Depending on the findings, fetal surgery may be recommended before Keziah is born. If surgery is necessary, Kaila may be required to temporarily relocate to Philadelphia and remain under close medical supervision for the remainder of the pregnancy.

If this becomes necessary, Keziah will be delivered in Philadelphia so she can immediately receive specialized medical care from the team that has been managing her condition. Following her birth, both mother and baby may need to remain in Philadelphia until Keziah is medically stable and cleared to return home to Savannah.

As you can imagine, this creates significant financial challenges for a young family. Travel expenses, temporary housing, meals, transportation, medical costs not covered by insurance, lost income from time away from work, delivery expenses, neonatal care, and ongoing specialized treatment can quickly become overwhelming.

We have established this fundraiser with a goal of $50,000 to help alleviate some of these financial burdens and allow Kaila and Jordan to focus on what matters most: caring for their daughter and making the best decisions possible for her health and future.

Although this journey has been filled with uncertainty, one thing has remained constant—our faith.

Keziah's heart is beating strong. She continues to grow. She continues to move. We are trusting God for wisdom, strength, healing, and direction every step of the way.

We believe that God is still working miracles.

We believe that every prayer matters.

We believe that no family should have to walk through a season like this alone.

With love and gratitude,

The Family of Baby Keziah
