Over the past year and a half, my brother Amir (Ano) has been courageously battling lung cancer. He has faced every challenge with strength, determination, and hope, and he was making progress. But just as it seemed he was turning a corner, our family received devastating news: he has now been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-growing form of brain cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord and is known for its complexity and difficulty to fully remove.

He recently underwent brain surgery in hopes of removing the tumor, but doctors were unable to remove it all. He must now begin chemotherapy and radiation immediately. This has been an incredibly overwhelming and heartbreaking journey, not only for him, but for everyone who loves him.

During this difficult time, many friends and family have reached out asking how they can help. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express. To help ease the burden, I’ve created this GoFundMe so that anyone who wishes to support him and his family can do so in one place.

Beyond the emotional toll, this fight brings a heavy financial strain that no one should have to carry while going through something so painful. Our hope is to lift that weight as much as possible, allowing him and his family to focus on what truly matters, his healing, his comfort, and time together.
