I am Alex's mom. He was diagnosed Pilocytic Astrocytoma which is a brain tumor. He had 2 er visits and multiple MRIs and CT scans. He has been at Froedert Hospital since January 14th. He has been in ICU since we got here. Not sure when he will be to go home. More than likely he will need to have chemo. They removed 85 to 90% off the tumor surgically.
