Abel's Transplant
As many of you know, I started my cancer battle about a year ago. It was not easy; everything happened really fast, and before I knew it, I was really sick. My life started to change. However, I stayed very positive, and I must give myself credit for being so brave as I went through chemotherapy, lots of testing, and doctor's appointments.

I tried my best to stay strong. After having the hope that chemotherapy was going to help me get rid of my disease, that did not happen.

So here I am. It's time to start a new journey and go through the transplant process. I am very optimistic that this will be it and I will be able to get into remission. However, at this time, my parents really need help. They have been trying really hard to support me and always be there with me. I was and never will be alone going through my hospital stays, doctor's appointments, and all the testing in and out of state—all that work that getting better involves.

My cancer continues to stay very aggressive, and now we need to move on to the next step of treatment: a transplant.

It's time for me to ask everyone for financial help. My mom will have to stop working. A year of missing lots of work for both parents to take care of me is taking a toll, and now, since my transplant process is about 9 weeks and 6 weeks are out of state, my mom has to stop working to be with me. Our family needs help. Everyone knows that I don't ever complain, and I've been very strong, as my parents have been. I must say I feel very loved by everyone around me. I've been fortunate enough to live a life where I am very protected. I will really appreciate any help you can give us. I am grateful for everyone that has kept me in their prayers.

I end my request with so much gratitude. My heart is full, and I will keep my hopes up for a positive outcome once I am done with this treatment.
