Hi everyone, we are fundraising money to help Jessica Osuna with medical treatments for MS- Multiple Sclerosis which is an autoimmune disease. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves. Without treatment, Jessica is facing the potential of losing the ability to walk independently, vision loss and kidney failure. Everyone's progression is different, but Jessica has already experienced constant weakness in her arm and leg, decreased kidney function and disorienting episodes.
Unfortunately, the specialist she is seeing does not accept insurance. Her family only has two payment options: either pay all expenses up front or be on a payment plan for nearly 8 years.
Jessica is a wife and a mother of 5 children, number 5 is currently on the way. Due to the symptoms she has been experiencing daily, it has been extremely difficult for her to care for her family, her husband, and for her to serve her Church.
Anything donated would be a great blessing to the Osuna family. We pray God would restore her fully to continue to bless her family and church as she has so faithfully done for many years so selflessly.
