In Ramadan, when mercy is supposed to wrap every child like a blanket, there is a small corner of Gaza where that mercy is being held together by one brave woman and a tent full of orphans.
These children have lost mothers, fathers, homes, and the sense of safety every child deserves. Yet in the middle of bombardment and displacement, they have Sali Mohammad – a trained first responder who runs toward danger to save lives, then comes home to little ones who cling to her as guardian, sister, and protector all at once.
By day, Sali is counting heads, serving meals, cleaning wounds, and calming panic. By night, she is listening to whispered fears in the dark, promising that as long as she is breathing, she will fight to keep them fed, warm, and together. She stretches every piece of bread, every blanket, every donated item like it is gold – because for these children, it is.
This Ramadan, we are asking you to stand beside her. Your support will help Sali provide:
Daily iftar and suhoor so no child goes to sleep hungry.
Clean water, medicine, and first-aid supplies for the injuries and illnesses that come with war and displacement.
Safe shelter, mattresses, blankets, and clothing to protect them from the cold and chaos.
A slice of childhood – a sweet date at iftar, a small Eid gift, a moment of joy in a life of loss.
When you give, you are not just sending money. You are placing food in tiny hands, wrapping a shawl over a shivering child’s shoulders, and putting strength back into the heart of a woman who refuses to abandon them. You are telling Sali, “You are not alone,” and telling these orphans, “The world still sees you.”
This Ramadan, let your generosity be the lifeline that carries them through another month of uncertainty.
Donate, share, and make du’a for them – for the orphans of Gaza, and for Sali Mohammad, the first responder who became their guardian.
This fundraiser is organized and managed by Holly Brownfield / Madame Venom, In America -- founder of Lifeline4GazaProject. All donations are sent to Sali Mohammed Solama via PayPal to her account with Bank of Palestine. All funds are used to purchase humanitarian aid for orphaned children in Al-Mawasi, Kahn Younis, Gaza, Palestine.
