Hope Chamber's is  a 3rd grade teacher at Parker Elementary and her husband, Larry Chambers, is a captain with the Galveston Police Department.  Hope's father, mother, sister and 8 year old nephew were involved in a horrific car accident in Kingsmen, Arizona. Her parents are both in critical condition in ICU, and her sister and nephew are in stable condition in a Las Vegas hospital. If you know the Chambers, you know that they are the first to lend a helping hand and be there in times of need. Their community involvement ranges from coordinating Blue Santa, volunteering with Light House Charities, Holy  Family  PTO, and  the O'Connell Booster Club. Hope also goes above and beyond as a classroom teacher. In 2016-2017, Hope was voted by the staff at Parker as Teacher of the Year. She not only focuses on her students' academics,  but also supports their physical and emotional well being. Hope doesn't think twice about donating her time or money to help the students in her class.
