Hi everyone,

My name is Amina Shale, Founder and Executive Director of More Than A Smile Foundation, and I am raising funds on behalf of three Louisville families whose lives were forever changed by a tragic car accident.

In an instant, a beloved 13-year-old child lost their life, leaving behind grieving parents, siblings, relatives, friends, teammates, and classmates. Other individuals impacted by the accident continue to face physical recovery, emotional trauma, and unexpected financial burdens. No family should have to endure this kind of loss and hardship alone.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help these families as they navigate the difficult road ahead. Funds will provide support for funeral and memorial expenses, medical and recovery-related costs, lost wages, transportation, emergency household needs, and other essential expenses that arise during this challenging time.

100% of funds raised will go directly to the three impacted families. More Than A Smile Foundation will serve as the fiscal administrator to ensure funds are distributed fairly and transparently based on each family's immediate and documented needs.

If donations exceed our $30,000 fundraising goal and the families' immediate needs have been met, additional funds will be used through More Than A Smile Foundation to provide grief support, mental health resources, healing activities, and wellness programming for youth affected by this tragedy and others in our community.

More Than A Smile Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to uplifting youth and families through mentorship, education, sports, mental health, and community support. During moments of crisis, we believe our community is strongest when we come together to care for one another.
