For all of you that followed and supported me last year on my first mission trip to Kenya, thank you!!! I’m excited to tell you that in July of this year (4 short months away) I have the opportunity to go on my 2nd mission trip back to Kenya with a team of 24 from Hope Christian Church. We are going to Nairobi to work in the Mathare Valley slums. This slum ranks in the top 5 biggest slums in the world. Nearly 1 million people live there in less than 1 square mile! Entire families crowd into one room huts with no electricity, running water or toilettes.  We will work specifically with Missions of Hope International, where the child sponsorship program provides education and basic care for more than 12,000 vulnerable children.  Joe and I sponsor a 12 year old girl named Ruth, I was honored to meet her last year and look forward to seeing her again this year!  Some of the things our team will be doing include running a vacation bible school, a medical clinic, a prayer room, and community health evangelism. We will also be taking medical and school supplies along with reader glasses and much needed sunglasses.

Im asking you to consider assisting me in raising the necessary funds for this mission. Each team member will need to raise $3000 to cover all expenses and purchase needed supplies.  If you feel led to assist my mission trip,!I'd appreciate any financial support .
