I’m Nadia, a relative of this family who lives in Gaza. They are facing extremely hard conditions, with very limited access to food, water, and basic needs. I’m organizing this fundraiser to help them survive and bring some relief to their daily suffering.

My name is Sulafa, I am 14 years old. I

have two brothers, Abdulkarim and Khaled, and two sisters, Salma and Dana. My father is a teacher, and my mother is also a teacher. We once lived in a beautiful and peaceful home in Gaza, surrounded by dreams that stretched far and wide. But everything changed when the war began. Our house was bombed, and we were displaced into the unknown. That was the beginning of our suffering—losing our home, our safety, and all the basic necessities of life.

We lost the warmth and comfort of our clean, organized family home. We lost our blankets, and soon after came the freezing cold, the unbearable heat, the thirst, and the absence of clean water or sanitation. My younger sister fell ill, and finding medicine was almost impossible—when we finally did, it came at an unbearably high price. I myself was injured when shrapnel struck my forehead and lodged in my head.

Hunger has become one of our hardest battles. We could not even find a single kilo of flour to bake bread. Vegetables are now a luxury we cannot afford—just one kilo of tomatoes costs $40.
