Hi Friends of Hollis!
As some of you may know, Hollis was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer in early 2018.
He has been on an aggressive chemo program - 676 hours of chemo to date.
The good news is - the chemo is working! The bad news is - it is extremely expensive. The medical bills are piling up and our Hollis needs our help and our prayers!

Below are Hollis' comments:
I am still in shock. I’ve been getting an annual physical since the age of 39. The CT scan in February 2018 found masses in my pancreas. The biopsy results showed they were benign. When I returned for another CT scan in July, they found more masses in my body. After another biopsy on August 1, they found stage 4 adenocarcinoma in my pancreas and liver. I have never spent the night in a hospital, never had any form of surgery. August 3, the oncology surgeon told me radiation and surgery is not an option for my type of cancer. I was shocked, horribly sad, sick and confused. Chemo was my only option.
On August 14.2018 my Oncologist said that because I am completely healthy I am able to undergo an aggressive form of chemo to fight this aggressive form of cancer. I have completed 12 cycles of chemo (676 hrs), 3 hours of Irinotecan and 3 hours of Oxaliplatin at UH and 42 hours at home with a pump full of fluorouracil (5FU or as I like to say it’s FU to the fifth power).
Since September 4, I have been receiving chemotherapy treatment from University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland OH. With guidance from an amazing team and the will of a warrior, the cancer is in partial remission. But the fight goes on; I need your help to keep my mind and body moving forward. The past 265 days have been a blur; funds raised will help support my treatment, medicines and living expenses.
