Left to fend for herself on the city streets.
Scared, alone, and utterly confused.
This was the beginning of Bella's journey to All 4 Paws. She was picked up as a stray and brought to a loud, scary, overcrowded shelter. Once there she was quickly put at risk of losing her life due to the sheer amount of animals there. Bella was terrified and in poor shape. She was thin, and clearly neglected. Her teeth rotting and mammary masses lining her underbelly, Bella was in desperate need of medical care. Despite everything she had been through, she was nothing but sweet to everyone and just wanted to be held and snuggled. She was a pitiful sight and we could not let her spend another day in a cage waiting to die.
Now, Bella is safe with us and settling into a loving foster home. Her journey to the life she deserves has only just begun; the road ahead is long. Not only does she need a dental and surgery to remove the masses, it seems she has a significant heart murmur, which complicates things. Bella will be seen by our veterinary partners and a cardiologist to ensure we take the best steps to provide her with the safest and most effective care possible. This is where you come in! Her care will not come cheap. We will provide her with everything she needs to get healthy, but we need help covering the bill. Your donation - whether it's big or small - helps us continue our life-saving efforts for dogs like Bella. Many dogs that come from shelters haven't received the care they need and large vet bills pile up.
