Hop Lane Umbrella's

We're super excited to be back open, but unfortunately due to current circumstances there's something missing.... and we're hoping you can help us bring it back!

Over the years the Hop Lane umbrellas have become something of an unofficial landmark in the Ballarat streetscape.
 
For the last five years it has been Hop Temple's pleasure to pay for the umbrellas and the labor involved in maintaining the laneway. Unfortunately, for the time being we are sadly not in a position to continue the upkeep of Hop Lane and have had to take the remaining umbrellas down.

Many would be surprised to learn, that the laneway is either fully or partially changed over at least every two months. This comes at no small cost ($1,200 for a full update), and like many people our current circumstances have meant we have had to make sacrifices we didn't foresee.
 
We completely understand that many businesses and individuals are in a similar position, but we're hoping that some of you may be in a position to donate a dollar or two to restore Hop Lane to its usual glory.
Hop Temple has of course benefited from the beauty of the lane for many years as have the businesses around us and the community in general. We'd love your help to bring her back to life until we're back in a position to once again continue the upkeep ourselves.
