We are hoovs., just 3 gals who like to turn familiar tunes on their heads, sprinkling some cheeky original songs in for good measure! Juliette is a native Parisian, Signe hails from Stockholm and Sally alas, is from Swindon. Moving on:

We're absolutely buzzing with excitement to share some big news with you: our debut EP, aptly titled hoovs., is in the works! Over the past couple of years, we've been hard at work crafting five eclectic tracks, implementing an array of genres such as funk, jazz, pop rock, folk and gospel music.

YOUR HELP

Now, here's where you come in. As much as we adore creating music, the reality is that bringing an EP to life requires resources – from studio time and production costs to mastering and distribution. That's where we need your help.

We're reaching out to our incredible community of supporters, fellow music heads, genre-bending tunes lovers to ask for your support in making our debut EP a reality. By contributing to our crowdfunding campaign, you'll not only be helping us cover the expenses of recording and producing the EP but also joining us on this exhilarating journey of musical exploration.

THE BAND

Juliette is an Actor-Musician graduate from Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she was the winner of the Sir John Gielgud Award. Since graduating, Juliette has many acting credits under her belt including: portraying Mary in WE'LL HAVE NUN OF IT at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe with Underbelly and for its London transfer to The Other Palace, riding horses and oxes as Anna in the ALBION ONLINE Commercial, narrating the ASICS Paris Olympics campaign and many more.

Juliette has poured her heart and soul into this EP, creating innovative arrangements and harmonies as well as composing the track Stupid Eyes. She is thrilled to be taking this exciting step into the music world and can’t wait to share the EP with you all.

Signe is an Actor-Musician-Singer-Songwriter-Choreographer-Puppeteer-You-Name-It from Stockholm. She moved to London to study at Mountview, where she became the first actor-musician to receive the Gyerbour Asante Award for acting, and, more importantly, where she met Sally and Juliette. Little did she know they would end up in a band together and make such interesting music together that they simply had to foreverify some of it onto an EP.

Hot off the tails of graduating, Signe dazzled as ‘Glinda the Good Witch’ in the Watermill's production of THE WIZARD OF OZ, she is currently treading the boards in Pitlochry Rep Theatre in three productions; SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, FOOTLOSE and BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. Making this EP happen means the world to her and her fellow hoovs!

Sally is a musician and actor based in south London. She has been performing and writing songs since childhood so to be releasing an EP is a real pinch me moment! Since graduating from Mountview in 2022 she has been involved in various performing projects including touring with the FINGASK FOLLIES, portraying The Snow Queen in THE SNOW QUEEN with Quantum Theatre and most recently she appeared in a podcast episode of NATIONAL TRUST PODCAST.

This EP is a real labour of love start to finish, Sally particularly enjoyed collaborating with Juliette and Signe on creating those crunchy harmonies and seeing her original compositions transform into fully formed songs. Sally would like to thank you so much for your support and cannot wait for you to hear the EP!

Nous sommes hoovs., simplement trois amies, avides de creation et transformation musicales exubérantes et originales. Juliette vient de la jungle parisienne, Signe de Stockholm et Sally, hélas, est originaire de Swindon…Passons:

Nous sommes absolument emballées de vous annoncer une grande nouvelle : notre premier EP, simplement intitulé hoovs., est en préparation ! Au cours des dernières années, nous avons travaillé dur pour élaborer cinq morceaux éclectiques, en intégrant un éventail de genres tels que le funk, le jazz, le pop rock, la folk et la musique gospel.

VOTRE AIDE

Malgré notre ferveur musicale inébranlable, la réalité est que donner vie à un EP nécessite des ressources, du temps en studio et des coûts de production depuis la mastérisation jusqu’à la distribution. C'est là que nous avons besoin de votre aide.

Nous nous adressons à notre incroyable communauté de supporters, aux passionné(e)s de musique et d’harmonies envoûtantes, pour vous demander votre soutien afin de concrétiser notre premier EP. LE GROUPE

Juliette est comédienne, musicienne et chanteuse diplômée de la prestigieuse école Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts, où elle a remporté le prix Sir John Gielgud Award. Depuis, Juliette a travaillé dans des productions artistiques multiples et variées; notamment dans le rôle de Mary dans WE'LL HAVE NUN OF IT au Festival d'Édimbourg 2023 au théâtre Underbelly et pour son transfer à Londres au The Other Palace, chevauchant des chevaux (et même des bœufs!) dans la publicité ALBION ONLINE, narrant la campagne publicitaire d’ASICS à l’occasion des Jeux Olympiques de Paris, et bien d'autres.

Juliette a mis toute son âme dans cet EP, créant des arrangements et orchestrations innovantes ainsi que des chansons originales. Elle est ravie de faire ce pas excitant dans le monde de la musique et a hâte de partager l'EP avec vous tous.

Elle ne savait pas qu'elles finiraient par monter un groupe de musique et créer des musique si prenantes qu'elles devaient absolument inclure dans un EP. Signe a joué dans le rôle de 'Glinda la gentille sorcière' dans la production de THE WIZARD OF OZ au théâtre Watermill, et elle joue actuellement à Pitlochry Rep Theatre dans trois productions : SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, FOOTLOOSE et BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. Réaliser la sortie de cet EP signifie beaucoup pour elle et ses collègues hoovs !

Cet EP est un véritable rêve devenant (presque) réalité. Sally a particulièrement aimé collaborer avec Juliette et Signe pour créer ces harmonies croustillantes et voir ses compositions originales se réaliser. Sally vous remercie infiniment pour votre soutien et a hâte que vous puissiez écouter l'EP !

Toutes les trois sorties de la même école, nous aimons mêler performance et virtuosité musicale, en chantant, tout en nous accompagnant nous mêmes à la basse électrique, au trombone, au piano, à la guitare, aux percussions et plus encore !
