Hoot's Girls Basketball Team 2023-24

Hey All,

As I embark on my 32nd year as a coach, I still have as much enthusiasm and energy as I did my first year in 1992.

We are not only coming off back-to-back league championships in our last two full seasons of high school varsity basketball (before and after COVID) but last year's 5 seniors are off to new adventures at Stanford, Cal, UCSD, and the University of Arizona.

For those of you that don't know my story, the first 24 years of my coaching career, I coached on the men's side for 16 years and the women's side for 8. This will be my 8th year.

We are a low-income, first-generation high school. It's an amazing school and I'm honored and humbled to be coaching these incredible scholar-athletes.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We've had donations in the past from $1 to $2,500 so every little bit helps so that we can get all kinds of different things for the program and give these amazing young women the best possible experience has this for most of them will be the last chance that they'll ever have to play organized sports.

We hope this note finds all of you doing well and we hope to see you at some games in person or online as we broadcast all of our games live on TikTok.

Love and Light,

Coach Hoot
