No busses. Yes, our school decided that busses weren't necessary. So as usual, I have to $h1t or get off the can. I don't make excuses and have chosen to stay because I love the kids. The trolley now goes to the school but it's a long ride (2 hours each way for some). It's absurd. So, besides needing to help with transportation more than ever, we still are raising money for equipment, team shoes (most of them have a pair or two and they're not basketball shoes) and team meals. I have been raising money for my teams for 31 years and if not for you all there's no way that all my teams could have the experience they deserve. So thank you all so much!
For those of you that don't know the high school I work at is a low income first generation High School and it's a population I've always loved being a part of and giving back to as I begin my 7th year as the head coach.
We have arguably the best team in school history and our expectations are very high.
We hope this finds all of you healthy and happy and we hope to see you at some games this year especially during Christmas where we have five games at Mission Bay High School the third week of December and December 27th through the 30th we have a tournament at Bonita Vista High School.
With Love and The Utmost Appreciation,
Hoot
