Hi everyone,

Today our hearts were hit with an immense loss. Lily Eden Moriah Shields passed on on August 8th. Her light and love brought joy and happiness to everyone she whom she met. Lily is an intelligent academic, who worked her butt off to advocate for others. She cared deeply for everyone she loved. She always knew who was hurting, and was there 100% to be your shoulder to cry on, your rock, or your cheerleader. Lily you are, and always will be my biggest cheerleader. Her life was filled with passion, drive, and silly adventures. My heart is broken, but it is also full knowing I loved and was loved by such an incredible human being. She brought insights, adventures and happiness to all she crossed passed with. It is our duty to uphold Lily's values, and continue to push for justice and a better world like Lily did every day.
