As many of you already know, my dearest Stephen Plummer passed away recently after a long and fiercely fought battle. Steve was my best friend, my soulmate, and the bravest soul I’ve ever known. My heart is shattered, but I am so deeply grateful for the incredible love, messages, and support so many of you have offered during this impossibly difficult time. It has meant more than I can ever express.

Over the last few years, Steve had been in and out of work while navigating illness, and I recently stepped back from work to care for him full-time. We had just bought our home together, and although we never complained, things have been tough behind the scenes.

A number of people have asked how they can help, including anything financial they can do. So, for anyone who wishes to- I’ve created this fundraiser.

These funds will help give me a bit more time off work to navigate this grief and adjust to life without the love of my life. They will also help me bring Steve home to New South Wales and give him the celebration of life he so deeply deserves. In addition, I hope to honour one of his final wishes — a road trip where I can scatter his ashes in some of his favourite places, the ones that made him feel most free.

There is absolutely no obligation. Your kindness, your memories of Steve, and your care for us both have already carried me through more than you know. This is simply in response to messages I am unable to keep up with.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for loving Steve and for holding me up during the darkest season of my life, with memories and kind words of the most amazing individual that I got to love with every piece of my heart.
