Honouring Peppe Mime - A Covent Garden Legend

Peppe Mime was a street performer in Covent Garden for decades, widely regarded

as one of the finest mime artists of his time. Both a unique performer and man,

Peppe lived life entirely on his own terms. He was a true force of nature, a Covent

Garden legend who touched countless lives with his creativity, humour, and

honesty.

Peppe passed away on 1st September. We are creating this fund to cover the costs

of his cremation and a celebration of his life - a tribute befitting a man who

brought so much joy to the streets of London.

Any funds remaining after these arrangements will go towards inspiring the next

generation of performers, ensuring Peppe’s love of performance and the honesty

and authenticity of the street continues to spark wonder in others.
