Honouring Kimball Lacey's Legacy
Donation protected
On June 25th, Kimball Lacey passed away suddenly at the age of 56 from heart failure, leaving his devoted wife, Liz, and their three children in shock and devastation. Kimball was the co-owner and winemaker of Lacey Estates Winery.
Kimball was a well-respected winemaker and mentor in Prince Edward County and within the greater community. He was a selfless individual; always willing to chip in and help others, like plowing neighbours’ driveways after a big storm, lending a hand at other wineries when the need arose, sharing his knowledge with others, and volunteering with the Rotary Club of Wellington. Kimball also regularly donated to the Wellington Food Bank.
Kimball’s tragic and unexpected death has devastated his family and has left them in a precarious financial situation as the winery is their only source of income. This may place the vineyard and winery’s future in jeopardy.
Funds raised by this campaign will go directly to the family for funeral costs and their day-to-day bills while they deal with the loss of their beloved husband and father.
We need to come together to help Kimball’s family. Please give generously and share this campaign with your family and friends.
