Jason Halsey-Sharpe – A Legacy Scholarship at the RCA
Donation protected
We are coming together to honour the life and legacy of our beloved friend Jason Halsey-Sharpe by raising funds to establish a scholarship in his name at the Royal College of Art (RCA) – a world-renowned institution for creative talent.
Jason was a fiercely intelligent, deeply kind, and endlessly creative person whose presence enriched the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him. His passion for art, design, and supporting others made a lasting impact on his community. In his memory, we want to support the next generation of artists and creatives by removing the financial barriers that prevent so many talented individuals from accessing higher education.
The Jason Halsey-Sharpe Scholarship will provide full funding – including tuition and living costs – for a student from an under-represented background studying Fine Art at the RCA. This includes disciplines such as Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics & Glass, Photography, Print, Writing, and more. Our goal is to raise £105,000, which will fund three, one year scholarships, giving one student a life-changing opportunity to study at one of the world’s leading art and design universities.
Year 1 Target: £35,000
Year 2 Target: £35,000
Year 3 Target: £35,000
At the RCA, around 40% of students offered a place are unable to accept due to financial hardship. Your support will not only change a student’s future, but also extend Jason’s legacy of creativity, care, and contribution to the arts. The recipient of this scholarship will carry forward his spirit – bold, generous, and visionary – in their own creative journey.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to building something truly meaningful. If Jason touched your life in any way, or if you believe in the power of education to change lives, we invite you to join us in this tribute.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Every penny donated will go to fund! Let’s make this happen – for Jason, and for the future of art.
