Honouring Duncan Powell – The Three Peaks Challenge
On July 11th 2025, myself and 18 of my closest friends will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, hiking Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon within 24 hours. We are doing this in memory of our dear friend, Duncan Powell, who tragically lost his life in a motocross accident.
Duncan was an incredible friend—full of life, energy, and passion for motocross. He was also a talented mechanic, always the first to offer help, whether fixing a car, a lorry or lending a hand to someone in need. Above all, Duncan was a devoted husband and a loving father, leaving behind his beautiful wife and three wonderful children. His kindness, generosity, and infectious spirit touched so many lives, and we want to honour him in a way that reflects his giving nature.
Why the Welsh Air Ambulance?
We are raising £35,000 – £1,000 for every year Duncan was with us to support the Welsh Air Ambulance Charitable Trust, the service that airlifted Duncan to the hospital on the day of his accident. Their critical care crews bring emergency treatment straight to the scene, often making the difference between life and death. The charity operates entirely on donations, so every penny we raise will help them continue their lifesaving work.
How You Can Help:
We’d love your support in reaching our £35,000 goal. Whether it’s £5, £50, or simply sharing this page, every contribution makes a difference. Let’s give back to the service that was there for Duncan and ensure they can continue to save lives across Wales.
Thank you for your generosity and support. This one's for you, Dunc. ❤️
