We are creating this fundraiser on behalf of Alex’s family during an incredibly difficult time. Alex was deeply loved by her family, by her friends, and by the many people whose lives she touched with her warmth, humour, and kindness.

Alex’s family is small, and they are not the kind of family who would ever ask for financial support, even now. They have always carried everything quietly and independently. However, the outpouring of love from Alex’s friends has been overwhelming. So many of us have asked how we can help, how we can honour her, and how we can contribute to giving her the farewell she deserves.

With the family’s full blessing, this fundraiser has been created to support the celebration of Alex’s life and assist in bringing Alex home so she can be laid to rest with peace and dignity
