Honouring Ben – Supporting Carie and Her Family Through Unimaginable Loss

On June 28, our dear friend Carie and family experienced an unthinkable tragedy—losing her son, Ben, in a devastating car accident. He was just beginning his life, full of hope and potential, and was taken far too soon. The depth of this loss is beyond words.

Ben was known for his big grin and free-spirited nature. A natural tinkerer, he loved spending time in the garage like his dad, often taking things apart all over the backyard—curious, adventurous, and always learning. He had just graduated and was proudly on his way to becoming a mechanic, following in his father’s footsteps.

Heartbreakingly, Ben lost his dad a few years ago—also in a car accident. To now lose Ben in the same tragic way is unimaginable.

This fundraiser has been created to support Carie and her family as they navigate this devastating loss. Funds will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, provide space for Carie and family to grieve without financial pressure, and help ease the weight of this heartbreaking time.
