Hi I'm kayla,

On behalf of my best friend/Sister Aleisha, I am reaching out with a heavy heart. Aleisha & Marks beautiful baby girl, Lakaiyah, passed away suddenly in her sleep at just 6 months old.

Lakaiyah was a cheeky, bright, and happy little girl whose smile could melt anyone’s heart. She was full of life and joy, loved blowing Raspberrys and was just starting learn new exciting things. In her short time here she touched so many people around her. Her piercing blue eyes and her sweet spirit will forever be remembered, and she has left an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of her mum, dad, 2 big sisters, and 4 big brothers, along with everyone blessed enough to have met her.

This loss is something no parent should ever have to go through. While Aleisha and her family try to process this unimaginable grief, I am hoping to ease even a little bit of the weight they now carry. Planning a funeral is the last thing any parent should have to think about while grieving their baby, but sadly it is something that must be faced.

We are asking for any support, big or small, to help cover the funeral costs and give Baby Lakaiyah the farewell she so deeply deserves. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and will help take some pressure off Aleisha,Mark and their families during this heartbreaking time.
