My name is Darcie & I’m fundraising for my nephew, John & my brother Adam, after the loss of 21st of June, 2026.
That weekend, our world was completely shattered. We unexpectedly and tragically lost a beautiful soul—a loving mother, and a dear friend—to an act of devastating violence.
She was a woman of kindness, and warmth. She spent her life helping others through her work and the gap she leaves behind is impossible to fill.
While the shock of her sudden passing is already an unbearable weight, her family is now faced with the sudden, overwhelming reality of managing the aftermath.
ASIRT must investigate this matter but in the meantime—Her son, John and his father Adam, are stepping forward to navigate this nightmare, and he has established this fund with two critical goals:
1. Restoring Her Dignity & Laying Her to Rest: We want to give her the peaceful, honourable farewell she deserves. All funds designated for this will go directly toward funeral services, burial costs, and memorial arrangements.
2. Seeking Truth and Justice: Due to the complex nature of the circumstances surrounding last weekend, legal counsel has become necessary to protect her estate, advocate for her name, and ensure the family has proper representation as justice is sought.
We are asking our community, friends, and anyone moved by this tragedy to help us carry this burden. No amount is too small, and every single dollar will go directly toward her final rest and the legal battle to protect her legacy.
