Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
I’m Nafla Nazreen, a proud graduate of the 9th batch of Ayesha College of Higher Education (ACHE) - an institution that has played a beautiful, lifelong role in shaping who I am today.
As we celebrate 25 years of Ayesha College’s inspiring journey, I feel deeply honoured and grateful to be part of this legacy. ACHE stands as the only college in Sri Lanka dedicated exclusively to empowering Muslim women, blending Islamic values with academic excellence. Over the years, it has nurtured thousands of young women, not just as mothers and daughters, but as leaders, professionals, and active contributors to society.
Guided by the profound motto:
".الأم مدرسة إذا أعددتَها أعددتَ شعبًا طيب الأعراق"
The mother is an institution; If you could produce a noble mother; you Could produce a noble nation."ACHE has invested in building not just individuals, but entire generations.
To mark this 25-year milestone, the college is organizing a special exhibition themed “Let’s Create a Qur’anic Model Family”- a project that truly captures the spirit and vision of ACHE.
As you know, this exhibition will not only educate the Muslim community but also inspire many young girls to begin their journey with Ayesha College in shaa Allah.
It will be a source of lasting sadaqah jariyah.
As a small token of my gratitude, I’ve launched this humble fundraising effort to contribute towards this celebration and the college’s future growth. I’m inviting 500 hearts to give just £5 each, a simple, shared effort that can have lasting impact.
Each contribution is like a symbolic brick in building the next 25 years of this vital mission of faith, education, and women’s empowerment.
Whether you are a friend, family member, fellow alumna, or a well-wisher who believes in the power of educating and uplifting women, your support means the world.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran for being part of this journey.
With love and duas,
Nafla Nazreen
