Honoring Don Burnett: A Legacy of Faith, Love & Opportunity
Tax deductible
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and mentor, Donald Burnett, who transitioned peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, after 43 years of devoted marriage and a lifetime of service to his family and community.

Donald was a man of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep compassion. He touched countless lives—as a provider, a guide, and a friend. In his honor, we are establishing The Donald Burnett Youth Legacy Endowment, a fund that will provide scholarships, mentorship, and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people—especially those in underserved communities.
This endowment will be managed through Green Light Movement, a nonprofit organization Donald deeply believed in and supported. Our mission is to empower youth through education, leadership, and service—and this fund will allow us to continue that work in his name.
Your donation will help us:
- Offer academic and trade scholarships to youth in need
- Create internship and job readiness programs
- Provide leadership development and mentorship
- Sustain youth-centered programming for years to come
We invite you to partner with us in carrying Donald’s legacy forward—not just as a memory, but as a movement.
Every gift, no matter the size, brings us closer to fulfilling his vision.
Thank you for your support, love, and prayers during this time. May his life continue to inspire purpose, generosity, and growth in generations to come.
With gratitude,
