This year, for my birthday, I want to honor my daughter Ziva’s memory by making a difference for others who are struggling. On October 6, my world changed forever when I lost Ziva to suicide. The pain of losing her is something I carry every day, and I know I’m not alone—so many families have faced this same heartbreak. That’s why I’m turning my grief into action, hoping to bring hope and support to others in our community.

With your help, I’ll be supporting a large suicide awareness event in Erie, organized by a friend who is passionate about making a difference. Part of the funds raised will go toward this event, helping to spread awareness and connect people with resources. The rest will be used to help cover counseling and therapy costs for individuals and families who have been affected by suicide. If what I’m doing can help prevent even one suicide, then I’ll consider it a success.
