Hello, my name is BJ Wright, nephew of Zeresh Louise Harrison. She was born on March 21, 1964, in Newark, NJ, and passed on November 4, 2025, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN.

As we prepare to honor her legacy with the beautiful memorial service she deserves, we are asking for support with the associated expenses. When Aunt Dee-Dee’s colon cancer returned and spread to her liver and lungs, her long-standing life insurance policy had to be changed. The new policy required a two-year term before it could be paid out in full, but she passed away only a few months later. Because of this, she was unable to receive the full benefits that would have helped cover her final arrangements.

Any contribution — big or small — will help us create a service that truly reflects the grace, strength, and joy she brought into the world.

Aunt Dee-Dee was the kind of woman who showed up for everyone. Whether she was praying with someone in need, offering a warm meal, or simply giving her time and encouragement, she lived a life rooted in service. Her compassion reached far beyond our family — she poured into her church, her community, and anyone who crossed her path. Giving was her ministry, and she gave with her whole heart.

As a mother and grandmother, she was their foundation. She celebrated their wins, uplifted them through their hardest days, and never stopped believing in the power of love and faith. Her presence made every room brighter, every challenge more bearable, and every moment more meaningful.

To her family, friends, and community, she was known by many names — a devoted Mother, ZeZe, Mama Z, Nana Z, Memö, sister, & Minister Z. No matter how you knew her, Aunt Dee-Dee will always be remembered for her compassion, her wisdom, her joyful laughter, and the way she cared so deeply for everyone around her.

We are deeply grateful for every prayer, message, and act of kindness during this time. Thank you for helping us celebrate a woman who gave so much of herself to others. Your support means more than words can express.

Her Celebration of Life Memorial is scheduled for March 2026.
