Alexander “Zander” Brown was a universe all his own. To each of us, he showed a different facet of his massive, magnetic personality — dancer, artist, crystal enthusiast, barber, drink maker, psychic, creator, connector, and friend. Everyone knew him from a different corner of his vibrant world.

We want to bring all the people Zander touched into one shared space to grieve, remember, and celebrate the life of this extraordinary human being. This is a community-created tribute to everything he meant to us.

What We're Creating

A celebration held in a warehouse/art/or event space featuring:

• Exhibits honoring Zander’s art, life, and spirit

• Food and communal gathering

• A space for all of us to laugh, cry, share stories, and honor him together

• Sound, lighting, and projection equipment

• Food and beverages

• Creative materials to make the event as expansive, expressive, and vibrant as Zander was

All are welcome to join in celebrating the light, joy, and energy that was Alexander “Zander” Brown.

Any remaining funds, after celebration of life expenses are covered, will be gifted to Zander’s mother as a gesture of love from his friends and community.
