On January 11th 2026, our lives were shattered when my son, Zaden Goodman, was killed as an innocent bystander in a senseless shooting. Zaden was a young man who truly lived out loud. He was the life of every party and possessed a smile so big it would light up the entire room the moment he walked in.

​Zaden was known for his style and his spirit—his skin was always flawless, and his hair was a constant, beautiful evolution, always different, wild, and free. He was a bright light who had his whole life ahead of him, and his absence has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

​This tragedy was completely unexpected, and as I navigate the crushing grief of losing my son, I am also facing the reality of the expenses that follow such a loss. I am currently out of work to focus on making his final arrangements and supporting our family through this trauma.
