Supporting the McInelly Family: Honoring Zack’s Legacy

On December 31, 2025, we lost a bright light. After a courageous battle with colon cancer, Zack McInelly passed away at the age of 49. To know Zack was to know laughter, warmth, and a man who truly lived "big."

Zack was many things: a dedicated Business Development Director, at McKinstry, a proud Eastern Washington University alum, a BBQ extraordinaire, and a passionate golfer. But above all else, he was a devoted husband to Carrie and proud dad to their two children, Dylan and Ella.

Whether he was cheering on the Seahawks, planning the next family adventure to Hawaii or Mexico, or walking his Goldendoodle, Jake, Zack made every moment count. He had a unique gift for cultivating relationships and making everyone around him feel like the life of the party.

Why We Are Raising Funds

While Zack’s spirit was invincible, the reality of a long-term battle with cancer brings significant burdens. We are starting this fund to help Carrie and the kids navigate the road ahead. Your donations will go directly toward:

Medical Expenses: Covering the costs of Zack's extensive treatment and care.

Memorial Costs: Helping the family honor Zack’s life with a service that matches his "live big" philosophy.

Family Support: With college on the horizon, this will provide a cushion for Carrie and the children as they adjust to life without their primary provider and focus on healing.

As per Zack’s wishes, the family also continues to encourage support for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center to help find a cure for others.
