On April 10, 2026, my world changed forever when my son Zach lost his battle after a single car crash that left him unresponsive and in intensive care for three and a half weeks. Those weeks were filled with hope, heartbreak, and the unwavering support of friends, family, and even strangers who helped me stay close to him in Toledo while he fought so bravely. Zach passed away at 8:42pm, and the loss is something I will carry with me always.
Zach had the biggest heart and was always willing to help anyone he could. He loved his family deeply, especially his nieces, and found joy in spending time at casinos. Zach was fiercely protective of those he loved—if he was on your side, you knew how lucky you were. He will forever be 24 years old, and his spirit will continue to live on through those of us who knew him best. He will never be forgotten.
I am raising funds to help with Zach’s funeral expenses. The kindness and generosity I have already received from so many has been overwhelming, and I am truly grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported me during this unimaginable time. Your compassion means more than words can say, and I am blessed to have such caring people in my life.
