Hi, my name is Irene Alonzo-Sanchez and I am organizing this outreach to support the family of my long time friend and family member, Yvonne Hinojoza. On April 21, 2024 Yvonne was called home to heaven after a long private battle with cancer. She fought courageously till the very end. Her strength and bravery was admired by all. Yvonne always lit up every room not just with her smile but with her big beautiful green eyes as well. In a family so large, she was able to stand out by her humor, genuineness and ability to call it like she saw it. Her bright soul left an impact on this world that could not be overstated. She loved and valued her friendships, family, and most of all her grandson. There are truly no words to fully capture the incredible wife, mother, daughter, Mimi, sister, auntie, niece, sister-in-law and friend she was to all of us. No family gathering will ever be the same! Many of her family and friends have reached out to see how they can honor her and help support her family during this sad time. I am hoping this fundraiser can help alleviate the financial burden while allowing her family to take the time they need to focus on grieving and honoring Yvonne‘s memory.
