Honoring you, for the love and memories you gave us all ♥️

My name is Mayra, I am Hector’s daughter. I’m writing this on behalf of our family. Our Poppa left us very unexpectedly on Sunday, April 20th, 2025, shortly after going for a hike on Avila Ridge. He was happy, smiling, enjoying all the beautiful sights around his family. We watched the sunset on the ocean as he admired it with the biggest smile. I don’t understand why, or how; I am completely heartbroken and lost for words. He was the most incredible, selfless, kind human being, and everyone who had the honor and privilege of knowing him knows that is true. We would like to honor him with a proper service here locally for family, friends, and coworkers who all loved him dearly, and would like to honor his wishes by transferring him back to Mexicali, Baja California to lay him to rest alongside my Nana Ofelia. Every contribution is greatly appreciated by our family. Pops, you left us too soon, and we miss you so much already. Te Amamos Pa, Granfa, Hermano, Amigo… por siempre. ♥️
