On Sunday, September 15th, 2024, a beautiful, extraordinary, and vibrant young woman's life was taken too soon. Her name was Yasmine Lopez. She was 18 years old. She loved school and attended Albuquerque Academy from 6th grade all the way to graduation. She enrolled at UNM this year to study Architecture. She had so much going for her and many accomplishments in her short life. She was looking forward to accomplishing so much more in college.
