We are heartbroken to share the loss of Vilma Xiomara Avila, known to everyone as Xiomara. She was a woman with a strong spirit, never afraid to speak her mind and always honest about her feelings. When Xiomara was happy, she made sure everyone around her felt that same joy. When she was struggling, she let her family know, and her openness brought us closer together. Her presence filled every room, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be replaced.

Era una mujer de espíritu fuerte, nunca tenía miedo de expresar lo que sentía y siempre era honesta con sus emociones. Cuando Xiomara estaba feliz, se aseguraba de que todos a su alrededor sintieran esa misma alegría. Cuando estaba pasando por momentos difíciles, se lo hacía saber a su familia, y su sinceridad nos unía más. Su presencia llenaba cada espacio, y su ausencia deja un vacío imposible de reemplazar.

Xiomara faced many challenges in her life, especially after losing her mother in 2016. Her seizure disorder became more severe, affecting her daily life and decisions. Despite these hardships, she remained a loving mother to her three wonderful children, ages 5 to 12. On July 6, 2025, Xiomara was found unresponsive in her vehicle. Her boyfriend called for help, but sadly, it was too late. Her passing has left her children, her father, her boyfriend, six brothers, and two aunts grieving deeply. Xiomara will be missed and remembered.

Xiomara enfrentó muchos desafíos en su vida, especialmente después de perder a su madre en 2016. Su trastorno de convulsiones se volvió más severo, afectando su vida diaria y sus decisiones. A pesar de estas dificultades, siguió siendo una madre amorosa para sus tres maravillosos hijos, de 5 a 12 años. El 6 de julio de 2025, Xiomara fue encontrada sin respuesta en su vehículo. Su pareja pidió ayuda, pero lamentablemente fue demasiado tarde. Su partida ha dejado a sus hijos, a su padre, a su pareja, a seis hermanos y a dos tías profundamente affetados y siempre sera recordada en nuestros corazones.

We never imagined we would need to create a GoFundMe, nor did it cross our minds that Xiomara would leave us this soon. Her children will never call out for their mom again, and she will never see her kids grow up. We want to give Xiomara the burial she deserves and say our goodbyes with dignity. We are raising funds to help her father and family cover funeral costs, memorial support, and support and care for her children.

Nunca imaginamos que tendríamos que crear un GoFundMe, ni se nos pasó por la mente que Xiomara se iría tan pronto. Sus hijos nunca más podrán llamar a su mamá, y ella nunca verá crecer a sus hijos.
