n Loving Memory of Willie Mae Wright

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Willie Mae Wright. Her life was taken far too soon, leaving our family grieving a loss we were not prepared for.

The Bible tells us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18). Willie Mae knew hardship, yet she carried herself with grace, humility, and love. Though her journey was not easy, she never allowed her struggles to define her. God saw her heart, and it was full of light. “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

Above all, Willie Mae was a loving mother. When life overwhelmed her, she made selfless choices to ensure her children were safe and cared for. Her love for them never faded. “Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:8).

This loss is especially painful during the holiday season. While we do not understand why her time was cut short, we trust that God, in His mercy, called her home to rest.

Willie Mae did not have life insurance, and our family is humbly asking for help to give her the dignified burial she deserves. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
