My name is Debra Disharoon-Handy, and I am the Mother of William Knox. On June 25, 2026 my 31 year old son was tragically killed in a devastating accident on New Jersey Turnpike involving four tractor- trailers and a fiery blaze. His passing was sudden and has left our family heartbroken.

William was a proud U.S. military veteran who served his country with honor. He was also a dedicated member and advocate of the American Poolplayers Association (APA), where he built lasting friendships and touched the lives of so many through his love of the game and his willingness to encourage others.

I created this GoFundMe because William's passing was completely unexpected, and our family is now faced with the overwhelming cost of laying him to rest. Every donation will go directly toward his funeral and burial expenses, allowing us to give him the dignified farewell he deserves.
