This week has been the toughest week of my life for sure. Hands down, my beautiful, sweet, caring, and outgoing mother is going to be leaving behind two sons, 29 years old and 23 years old. 55 was way too young for my mother. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with esophagus cancer 4 months ago, and my mother gave cancer a hell of a fight. At the end of the day, it was just too much for her. I'd like to thank everyone that impacted my mom's life and made her the open-minded, crazy, funny person she is. If she was able to talk, speak, move, and tell every one of her friends how much she really loved them and how each friendship she knew was special in its own way, I just want everyone to know in these tough times, Wendy was a fighter and never backed down from a challenge. She raised me for half my life, and I'm forever grateful to have been involved with such love and compassion from her. Not many people have that kind of support. We would text each other every day and every night multiple times. I'm going to miss you, Momma. There ain't gonna be a night I won't cry and look at the homemade memory cards you've handmade me since I was a kid. I just wanna say one last thing: cherish your loved ones, hold them close, and as Mom would say, "I love you, my Austin, to infinity and beyond."
