Cobb Mtn Pizza: Honoring Wayne, Supporting Steven and Family

Hi everyone,

My name is Shayna, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart following the sudden passing of my stepdad, Wayne. He was a vibrant, hardworking soul who poured his heart and energy into running Cobb Mountain Pizza. The shop was purchased under my brother Steven’s name, but Wayne managed its daily operations and finances.

Over the past year, Wayne’s health declined significantly. As his energy and mobility worsened, he spent less and less time at the pizza shop. None of us realized how much the business was struggling, as he didn’t share the extent of the situation with Steven or anyone else. After his passing, we were blindsided to learn the pizza shop is facing significant debt. On top of that, we’re now struggling to cover rent and basic bills just to keep the business afloat.

My brother Steven, the legal owner of the shop, is now faced with the immense burden of this debt while grieving the loss of Wayne. Steven is the sole provider for his family of five. He’s working full-time to support his wife and children, and now he’s having to juggle his job with trying to keep the pizza place running-something no one should have to do alone.

Cobb Mountain Pizza isn’t just a business; it’s been a gathering place for our community and family, filled with memories, laughter, and love. It was Wayne’s pride and joy, and we want to honor his memory by doing everything we can to keep it going.

All funds raised will go directly toward paying down this overwhelming debt, covering essential operating expenses, and preserving Steven’s financial stability- while keeping Wayne’s legacy alive through the business he cherished so deeply.
