Honoring Victoria: A Life of Strength, Love, and Courage
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the passing of our beloved friend and family member, Victoria Jordan (Washburn)—a truly extraordinary woman whose strength, resilience, and love touched everyone who knew her. She passed away on March 22 at the age of 54.
Victoria faced more challenges than most, battling multiple sclerosis and liver disease for many years. On October 23, 2025, she was taken to the ER but had to be air lifted to a larger hospital for a severe infection which led to sepsis. For several weeks she was in ICU. During this time her kidneys were badly damaged and on November 1st she had to undergo an above-the-knee amputation to save her life. After a month and a half of dialysis while in ICU and a rehabilitation facility, she was finally released on December 10th. Through all of this, she remained strong, positive, and rarely complained, choosing instead to meet each day with courage and quiet determination.
Sadly, on March 21, 2026, Victoria had to be rushed to the ER for severe respiratory issues where she coded and was placed on life support. The next day she passed away from chronic kidney failure and respiratory arrest, one week after her 20-year wedding anniversary.
Despite everything she endured, Victoria never lost her light. She loved deeply, laughed often, and found joy in life’s simple moments. She had a creative spirit, a beautiful heart, and a deep love for arts and crafts, often turning simple moments into something magical with her imagination and talent. But more than anything, she loved her grandkids, who were the center of her world. Her passing has left a space in our lives that can never be filled.
As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also facing the financial burden of medical bills, funeral expenses, and other unexpected costs that come with losing someone so dear so suddenly. We are asking for support from our community during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease this burden and allow us to focus on honoring Victoria’s life and the legacy of strength and love she leaves behind.
If you are unable to give, we completely understand. Sharing this page and keeping Victoria and her family in your thoughts and prayers means more than words can express. Thank you for your kindness, support, and love during this incredibly difficult time. We will carry Victoria’s strength with us always. With heartfelt gratitude, her husband and family appreciate your sentiments.
