Michael Talamantes was the kind of man you don’t forget. At 63, he had lived a life full of love, laughter, music, and a deep pride for his country. A proud veteran, a devoted husband and an encyclopedia of all things rock and roll, Mike made an impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.
If you ever found yourself in a conversation with him, chances are you walked away with a history lesson, a music fact you didn’t know you needed, or a reminder that The Beatles are, in fact, the greatest band of all time. His love for music wasn’t just a hobby—it was a way of life. He could tell you the lead singer of that one band from that one song without hesitation, and if you ever tried to challenge his music knowledge, well… you were going to lose.
Beyond music, Mike knew the roads of California like the back of his hand, a skill that served him well in his career as a driver for MV. Every shift was an adventure, and he never had a dull moment. But more than anything, he valued the people he met along the way.
At home, he was surrounded by the people and pets he adored. His wife, children, grand children and pets were his whole world, and his love for them was unmatched.
Mike wasn’t just a husband, a father, or a friend—he was a teacher of life’s lessons, a jokester, a storyteller, and a man who loved deeply. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his laughter, his wisdom, and his love will always remain with us.
As we honor his memory, we ask for your support in helping ease the financial burden of his final expenses. Any contribution is deeply appreciated, and we thank you for helping us celebrate the life of a truly unforgettable man.
