My mom, Valarie—affectionately known as Mimi—has been bravely battling cancer for the last few years. In July, we received the heartbreaking news that her cancer had progressed to a point where nothing more could be done to fix it, and her time with us became much shorter. Throughout this journey, my mom has shown incredible strength and resilience, fighting every step of the way. Now, as her fight comes to an end, I know she is tired and deserves peace and comfort.

As we prepare to say goodbye, I want to honor her by giving her the best send-off possible. Part of this includes creating care gifts for her amazing support team—the nurses, doctors, and caregivers who have become like a second family to us. Their compassion and dedication have meant the world to both my mom and our family during this difficult time.
