Honoring Tyler (Ty) — A life full of love, fight, and heart

Hi, my name is Mamie, and I’m raising funds to lay my brother Tyler—lovingly known as Ty—to rest.

On June 25th, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when Tyler passed away. He was so deeply loved—by me, by our family, by so many. I never imagined I’d be in this position… having to say goodbye to my big brother, to plan his cremation, and to hold a celebration of life for him. Ty was one of the most stubborn people I’ve ever known. And one of the strongest.

He was the kind of person who could be going through hell—but if something good happened to you, he’d be the first one hyping you up. If you were chasing a dream—Ty was proud of you. Loudly. Genuinely. Like your win was his win. That kind of heart is rare.

Life hit him hard—again and again. Big losses. Big struggles. But Ty kept getting back up. Maybe not right away. Maybe not with ease. But he always got back up. And when he did, he came back with more love, more fight, more music, and more dreams.

And I know… if he could see this GoFundMe, he’d probably be shaking his head. He wouldn’t want anyone worrying about money. He’d hate the idea of people donating for him. I want to give him the peaceful goodbye he deserves, and we simply can’t do this alone.

We’re hoping to raise $4,000 to cover his cremation and a celebration of life filled with the love, music, and memories he deserves. We plan to honor one of his final wishes: to have his ashes spread in the ocean with his mom’s. Reunited in peace, side by side—just as they always should have been.
