We are heartbroken to share that our dad passed away on Sunday, October 27th. Throughout his life, he bravely fought cancer twice before, and he faced a third battle with unwavering strength. In September 2023, he was diagnosed with Intrahepatic bile duct carcinoma, and for the past year, he endured chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Every moment we spent together during that time was precious, as we knew he was fighting so hard against this relentless disease. Despite his incredible resilience, cancer ultimately took its toll on him. He fought until his very last breath.

Last week, as he was hospitalized, we made the difficult decision to prioritize his comfort and bring him home. In those final moments, we gathered around him, surrounding him with love, and we took unpaid time off work to be by his side. He returned home on Friday and peacefully passed away just two days later.

In light of this profound loss, we need to take additional unpaid time off to plan his memorial and manage the related arrangements. This is placing a significant strain on our finances, making it difficult to cover essential living expenses during this challenging time.
