Honoring Trey: A Brother's Goodbye
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amonda and this is my brother Charles, also known as Trey to me and Yolanda’s son. Life happened in the most tragic way. I lost my brother, my protector, my first and best friend. And my mom has lost her first and only son; he was her shadow, her right hand. Now she has to live in a world without her boy and fight cancer without him as well. I just wish we were going to see her beat cancer together. Trey was the type of person that left a lasting impact on your heart. He always spoke truth and light into someone while also battling depression and anxiety. You can't always see those battles in a person, nor do we show that we are in such a battle to others ourselves. Rather, we mask or replace it with laughter. That's what my brother did. He always had a joke to tell and a smile to give. He was a kind soul and very in tune with the world. Once you met him, you'd have a memory for life with him or an imprint on your heart that you could never forget. I never thought that I would have to live my life without him. Now I must lay him to rest. Sadly, I don't have the money to do that. With my mom battling breast cancer and the cost of living going up so much, I can't even afford to lay him to rest. Please help me send my brother off right. Anything will help. Thank you.
