My family lost my brother on 1/27. Travis Stephen Brechtfeldt passed away due to complications from severe pneumonia & influenza A. He fought hard for 9 days on a ventilator, but unfortunately, it was too much for him to recover from. He was only 37 years old.

We need help laying him to rest. Not in a million years did we think we would be doing this so soon, so we were not prepared. Financially, we are scrambling to figure out how to come up with the funds when all we want to do is grieve.

My brother was such a big part of our family. Our family is truly heartbroken. Being my sister's twin, he played a vital role in raising Andrew. He took care of Grandma. He left a lasting impression on anyone he's ever met. I cannot believe we have to live life without him.
