Our family is navigating an unimaginably difficult season of loss. Just this past October, we said a heartbreaking goodbye to our beloved mother. Throughout her final days, she was tenderly cared for by my father, Transito Diaz—a retired chef whose passion for food was only outmatched by his devotion as an outstanding father and husband. Tragically, while still in the depths of grieving for his wife, our father received a devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer was so advanced that treatment was no longer an option.

In his final days, while on life support, we were blessed with the opportunity to surround him with love, share our favorite memories, and say our proper goodbyes. On May 1st at 10:00 PM, Transito passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family he worked his whole life to provide for and protect.

We are now reaching out to our community for support as we honor his memory and lay him to rest alongside our mother. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us navigate the funeral and memorial expenses during this time of profound grief.
